Losensteinleithen dated 1808. A single-door green-painted pine cabinet with a removable moulded cornice and canted angles, applied coloured engravings of a courtly hunting scene, floral painting on the angles, lateral lozenge panels painted with flowers, the inside of the door painted with the inscription "Anno 1967 Resi Hammerer". Ca.180 x 126 x 53.5 cm. Some ageing and wear. (DOC)

Therese "Resi" Hammerer (1925 - 2010) was an Austrian skier. She won the bronze medal in the downhill competition at the Olympic Winter Games in 1948 in St. Moritz. In 1949 Hammerer began the production of her own ski clothing. Alongside her winter clothing she was known around the world above all for her traditional costume and loden collections.
